NickNack, those are hefty claims man. I hold my judgment untill I see a mods list and a timeslip. I hope that Subaru did indeed improve the performance potential to offset the drab styling.

Guys... I don't think we should treat this guy like a sack of lying crap; even though his claims are extremely steep. He's new and doesn't know better than to provide hard evidence with his claims; however, if there is not evidence to be presented, he should expect nothing less than to be call a liar and laughed at hysterically. There should be at least a dyno sheet. If that thing hasn't been dyno-tuned, its a rolling hand grenade and it won't be around for long.

Did anyone read the October issue of SubieSport? With just a beta UTEC they managed to get 300 ft/lbs out of the 08 WRX (on race gas i believe and I dont remember all the other numbers.) I'm not saying his numbers are valid, but according to that article the 08 takes kindly to mods.

The 2008 WRX is quite the best out of the box...I strongly believe it is very very Tuner/Mod friendly.

Just the the TBE we made ours 'felt' a lot stronger...we didn't take it to the dyno yet but it is coming.

I just test drove an 08 too. Compared to my 02 with cobb stage 2 and tein coilovers it felt pretty weak! It was also quieter, smoother transmission, and a much more comfortable ride, but I was expecting a wrx!

I don't like the looks of it much, but i sure bet that thing will be a beast on the Tarmac Rally Stages!!!!

I hope the new car helps Team Subaru in Rally Next Year!

So if your from Subaru I give it a thumbs down, but I will give it a thumbs up if it starts beating the crap outa other cars.. hahah
