08 wrx. HELP PLEASE!!

okay, so i have an 08 WRX hatchback Dark Grey Metallic (color is completely useless, but it took like 3 months to find this car and its the most beautiful color ever)

I'm looking to do some mods and I have a few unanswered questions:

If I buy a Cobb TBE, AP, and CAI will the CAI have any benefits at all? I have been reading MANY threads and there is some info that if you put a CAI on without a protune, the CAI is completely useless. (I don't know if this will help or not but I was looking at getting the Injen CAI) Is there any truth to this statement?

Also, should I get a TBE or a CBE right off the bat? I was thinking of going stage 2 in which case, according to Cobb I need a TBE. So, I was thinking that I should just drop the extra $700 right away instead of having to buy it or the rest of the parts later. Which should I do?

Thanks for the help!

If your going stage 2 , you need a dp and cbe , it doesnt matter what brands of dp or cbe you buy , it just has to mat up to each other ,,,,,,,,It just needs to be 3" pipeing! Look around , with the economy , no one is buying , makes for cheap parts.

The stock intake is pretty good. Dont get a CAI! If you really want an intake get COBB, PERRIN, or SPT.

A.) stock intake on 08-09 isn't very good past stage 2 performance. just stage 2 though, its ok
B). neither cobb or spt makes an intake for the 08-09
C.) perrin makes a cai to go with their accessport map, theres a nasioc thread that explains it all:
PERRIN 2008 WRX Stage 2 Results, and we prove our intake! - NASIOC
