The HTA is a decent turbo, from what I've seen.
Look into the EVO3 16G

Who is your tuner? Blouch Turbos are built in Lebanon, PA btw. A 1.5XTR or 2.5XTR are good options. But, you will have to run a FMIC with those turbos.

I just found out that Blouch use to build the turbos for Deadbolt...
I'd call Blouch and talk to Mike to see what turbo best fits your needs...Then again I'm running a rebuild Ebay 20g without issues....meh.

Here is my list of mods on my 08 wrx and the numbers I put down: megan racing dp, SRS cat back exhaust, 850cc deatschwerks injectors, 255 walbro fuel pump, megan racing lowering spring, td06 20g turbo, turbo xs front mount, turbo xs BOV, AEM cold air intake, FMS up pipe, 357whp, 322wtq on 16lbs boost 91 octane. I am going to do forged pistons and rods, do an external wastegate, 1000cc injectors and run e85 and got for 450-500 awhp. Good luck with your build

I don't see you getting 450-500 whp out of a 20G...even on E.

I would guess a dyno that gets you almost 360whp at 16psi on 91 octane you can get 450whp no problem

A real 450whp is a different story.

has anyone heard of clutch slippage at around 300wtq on the newer rexes? been hearing a few cases lately ? might want to + the clutch to while you're at it if that's the case

That's one REALLY SUPER high reading dyno if you hit 357 whp on 91 on 16 lbs.

I wouldn't go throwing those numbers around. You'll start sounding like Synolimit.

Even on a dyno reading that high you won't hit those numbers on E85.

Holding fine at 360 wtq.... Stock power for about a year... 300+wtq for almost two years now, same clutch.

I'd say 99% of the guys that needed a new clutch since the 08's came out can't drive worth a damn.

Its a very high reading dyno and I still doubt its ability to hit 450whp on E85.
