I am not a new member, but since I never really got to introduce myself to everyone before I thought that I would give it a shot. Plus I love whoring pics of my car out.

I am an MRI Tech from around Pittsburgh in Western Pa. I regularly try to hit up the Flashlight drags that they have around here and I am going to try to get to a couple of Auto Cross events this summer.

I have a 2004 WRX that had some work done to it before I got it. The dealership wasn't even sure. I bought it last October 2005 with about 12K miles:

What I knew it had so far:
Eibach Springs
Cobb AccessPORT
Helix Downpipe
Blitz NUR-Spec Catback
Rota Torques
GReddy Timer

I had to reinstall the exhaust cause the dealership convinced me to let them put the factory exhaust back on. What a mistake!!! When I did my exhaust swap I found that the previous owner had done a turbo swap as well and installed a VF30 with STi pinks

Fast forward to now. Here it is:

The Rotas are in storage and the stockers with snow tires are on for the winter.

Got to the drag strip to mess around some before I got tuned. This was the best run:

I suck at launching or the times would have been better. It was my first time at the track.

In October I got a Protune and ended up with 310 whp and 275 wtq on a Dynapak.

Back in September the bug to get an STi bit me so I started looking for one that I could afford. With some help from Vern I found one, and traded in my WRX for this car right here!

She had 83K miles on her and needed a little TLC from the dent wizard and the detailer. I had a couple bumps to overcome initially with belts and batteries, but once I got over that I have been loving this car. It is by far a much better choice than my WRX ever was.

If it does then I get to upgrade. PPG FTW. I am waiting for it. They told me at the tune that I could blow the tranny really easy. I don't really launch the car too much and if I do I slip the clutch.

NO doubt great attitude. I am on the same page as you. I just bumped my boost to 17.5 yesterday and everybody is telling me that I will blow my motor or tranny or something, but whateva. I would like to know if you actually blow your tranny, how and when, because my end all HP number at the wheels is 300, so I am curious to know how true it is that those numbers are lethal to stock parts. Once again good looking ride.

Lord Ken...I need to visit the detailer then. I get dissapointed when you guys show off your shiny STIs. I clean mine pretty good. But, it doesn't look as good as the pics I'm looking at. Heh

LOL... This is the first time I have washed this car since I got it in October. I just ran it through one of the local car washes with people who hand dry it. That's it.

True...you need to hand dry it to bring out the shine though. Mine was pretty shiny over the summer with hand drying and some clay baring.

We swapped trunks. The STi wing has like 10 bolts holding it on there. I don't have the money to get the holes filled and then the trunk resprayed. I plan to pick up a limited spoiler when I can find the money for it.

+1 on the limited spoiler. That diffuser looks so dumb without something on the ass to me.

Did you notice how heavy the wing was though? It's amazing. Yay weight savings.
