I have seen WRXs with TMIC and 20G on it. It probably does heatsoak way more than a FMIC, but you can wrap and coat things to help it. And a TMIC will be more than sufficient for a 16G.

Ya, I'm really hoping it is because I don't want to spend too much! To be honest I'd be content right now if i could push more then 11psi of boost, getting frustrated over here with the profecB boost control, Heard a lot of bad things, but then again theres people that swear by them.

You could always sell that thing off and buy a 3port BCS and get tuned for it. Put your stock ECU back in control like it should. Google "GM 3 port BCS" I believe you can get them for at or around $45. You just need to be tuned for it right after its installed.

For your 16G? That depends on how much power you wan to make (to an extent).

Well, I don't have the 16g yet, so I'm thinking with my stock set up, 13-14 is a good target PSI?

You should be at 13 psi STOCK. I would take it to a tuner and have them check it out. I'm running 20lbs on my td04 but I do have the supporting mods for it.

Thats what im figuring something isn't right here, I shold be able to get atleast 14 psi with the boost control, I'm not sure if it matters but it does have an APS down pipe, whats the deal?
Thanks for the kind words stagger lee =]
