Newbie Intro

Whats up...new here...I just picked up a new to me 2002 WRX over the weekend...it has some upgrades like intercooler, bov, downpipe, boostcontroller, exhuast, pillar guages...I am new to the Subaru world, years ago I did own a civic HB with a b16 turbo swap, so I am not entirely new to turbo systems, but I am sure I will still have questions here and there...so I hope I have come to the right place!!.

It doesnt have any EM but the guy I got it from said it was recently tuned...it seems to run pretty strong...but I have never driven a subaru before...so I have no base to compare it to...

I am not into racing or anything...I just enjoy driving a nice sporty import....always have liked the subarus, I got this one for a good trade....

hey all...i am back kind of...heres a story...

I sold this car back in December of last year to a guy I know for $5700, hes a young kid who doesnt know much about cars...well I have the opportunity to buy it back for $2500...only problem is, according to him, "it doesnt go into gear when the car is on, only when its off"...

I know this could be a multitude of things, but what do you guys think will be the major culprit? Should i do it?

Garage
Depends on how much your budget is to fix it. You could almost buy the car back and swap a 6speed for the amount you sold it for. And that would be worst case scenario to fix it with upgraded parts that will be much stronger so, I say do it!
