Ah, the TR model...it brings back memories of my old 06 gray TR. lol Single din radio, unpainted side mirrors, no climate control, and no fogs gives it away. TR with a wrx wing....mind you. The seats are comfortable, but idk if they're really that more comfortable than the STIs'. My TR had fogs and a wing added on it.

I just ordered COBB stage 1 front and rear sway bars. Now I'm looking to do up and down pipe. Any good deals I should know about or group buys coming up? Thanks for your help and comments.

Dont worry about the up pipe, yours is catless already. If you are getting a downpipe make sure to have some sort of EM (engine management) lined up so you can flash stage 2. If you dont have EM your car will really not like you much, and you wont get the power out of the setup thats there to be had.

Ideally:

1. good tires
2. any cat back
3. bellmouth downpipe + engine management

as many polyurethane bushings as you can find, swaybars/endlinks, and k&n panel filter can be upgraded any time

then save money for an upgraded trans, upgraded turbo w/ supporting mods and a pro tune, and more hardcore suspension mods

I'm picking up a used xxtuning DP and exhaust. Going to be searching for intakes today, not sure what to get. Good call on the tires and bushings I'll look into that. I also need to get a short throw soon.

For 02-07 wrxs...there isn't to many intakes you can run with out a tune. Some are just bad all around in general. So, do some research. Cobb and SPT are good with OTS maps. APS's intake will need a tune. The rest suffer from mostly bad MAF readings.

Did you get the heatshield also? It does actually make a difference. Cobb doesnt make theirs anymore, but a guy that worked for Cobb now makes them:RallySportDirect.com - MODE Racing 2002-2007 WRX/ STi Air Box This is identical to mine, minus the Cobb sticker that came on mine.

No I didn't order that yet, but I will. Anyone know where I can get a turbo heat shield? I finally got my walbro 255, cobb sway bars and kb hangers in the mail. I'm looking for a vf43 if anyone knows of any good deals. Thanks
