New to Subaru.....and pistons

Hey, everyone, I'm new to Subarus. All I've owned is RX-7's, so I'm also kinda new to piston engines. I'm here to learn all I can about the WRX and STI. Hopefully I will have mine by Christmas. I am hoping to get a 2004 - 2005 WRX (an STI if I can afford it). This will be my daily driven car, but I also plan to auto-x it occasionally.

Nice I was in the same boat (wanted the STi but could only afford the rex). Either way you won't be disappointed. It's funny how you really ARE new to pistons pumping in an engine, personally I LOVE the rotary engine and if they were practical I'd have a 2nd generation RX-7 as my daily driver. But the Rexs are nothing short of fantastic stock and modded...Enjoy.
