New to the site

HELLO USERS

Am new to this site and after browsing around it,its amazing.i just bought a new 2003 wrx.its stock but has minor modifications like a direct pipe, magnflow catback and a blitz BOV.the turbo was blown after some time of buying it and i replaced it.am having a small issue after replacing it.whenever i step on the gas pedal, the rpm keeps on rising but the car does not gain any acceleration..this mainly happen on 4th and 5th gear.as much as i read about cars.i think it needs tuning.can u guys guide me around and what should i look for in my car.

another this is,i was offered to buy a used center pod with an sti gauges.do i need any kind of control unit like the defi to instal it?

Welcome! Almost sounds like your clutch could be slipping. Smell funny after this happens? Did you go back with the stock turbo? What exactly do you mean by "direct pipe"? What brand of gauges are in the pod?

yes...some guys told me so regarding the clutch.but what do u recommend,an OEM replacment or another sort of heavy duty racing clutch?and for the direct pipe i meant, direct from the turbo catless, some guys recommended me to change it.for the gauges its the sti ones..am getting them for a good price but i wana go for something with colours

Sounds like the up pipe to most of us. Stick with stock clutch since you have stock gears in it. Do/can you post up pics of the gauges/pod. If they are the ones Im thinking about, Im not a fan of them, but its your car, not ours.

Start with exhaust (entire) and tune. Then throw a SRI on there
