New guy in NC

I just bought my first WRX, it's an 08 model. Not an STI I guess it's a base.
I don't know a whole lot about the different models.
I've been a fan for 10 years of them. I bought this one with less than 40k miles on it and bone stock. The one thing I would love to do is get a little more sound out of the exhaust. I don't want the annoying "fart can" like my son calls it. But i do love the sound of the WRX!
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Get on youtube and start looking and listening. If you can also, find some local car meets and guys and listen to them in person to decide what you like. Did you get a sedan or a wagon btw?

Welcome, just because its not an STi, doesn't mean it's a base.

You say "not an STI" like it's a shameful thing.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your car. Its like a wine (I think), the feeling gets better with time. I have had my subie for almost 6 years and still love it.
