Smile New guy

Hey guys, Im a first time subaru owner (07 sport wagon)... love it so far, only 650mi. My first of many questions is suspension related, so im not sure if this is the place to ask. I took my stereo system out of my jeep grand cherokee and wanted to put it in my wagon. It consistes of 2 JL audio W6 subs, and two JL 500/1 amps. Plus a four channel amp for my mids and power caps and a extra battery = (alot of weight). Question is how will that extra weight (app. 200+ lbs) effect handeling. I do plan on aftermarket suspension down the line... figured could get a stiffer spring rate or something. Also how much will it effect my performance?

a little, not terribly. The WRX is set up with passengers in mid. You're basically adding the weight of a co-pilot at all times.

I did not notice any difference with my install. it is over 200lbs.

I have removed the aftermarket headunit and changed to a better carPC but you get the idea.

Finally finished CarPC install and trunk Bandwidth Warning!

Thanks for the info guys. Jave, good looking system, I was thinking of just running one 12 also. How is the access to your spare? The installer said it will be a tight fix with the two subs.
