Talking New '07 wrx owner! Now w/ Pics!

Hey all,

I just purchased a 2007 Garnet Red WRX yesterday. After my 1st test drive, I knew it was the car for me. I traded in a 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara for it; also selling my bike. This is my 1st new car so I'm pretty excited. They had to get mine from another dealership, no red's on the lots, so I will get it sometime this week. It will be my daily driver & I hope to keep it stock for a while. I have a '89 Conquest as my project/toy car.

I look forward to picking it up, can't wait!

-Justin

Thanks all for the welcome! I know it will be hard to keep stock, but hopefully I can keep my hands of it for at least a few months. I hadn't seen a red wrx in person until the other day, passed it going to the dealership; must of been a good sign. I'm hooked on red, so the other colors just wouldn't cut it for me.

Right on. I just got a Blue 2007 TR. I've had it for a little less than a week now, just hit the break in point. Any tips for how much longer I should keep my foot out of it? Not planning on all of a sudden racing it at every light once it's broken in, but I just wondered. Also, has anyone installed the COBB lower springs? I'm interested in doing that ASAP but I'm 1. Worried about voiding my warranty and 2. Giving the car a super shitty ride. I'll try to post some pictures, but it's proving to be more difficult than I had planned.

Brought the car home last night and what a joy it was driving it back. The dealer is about an hour & half away, so plenty of time to see how it is in stop-n-go traffic and on the highway. I enjoyed every second driving it, except for the couple stall-outs, but that's normal trying to get used to a different car. I've been finding excuses for errands, just to drive it Here's to another extremely happy owner!!

Here are a few pics from tonight, but will get better ones in the day very soon.

I have the TR which is only the single-disc; listed on subaru's site too. I believe the TR is the only one without the 6-disc.

Hi Evil Betty.
SWEET ride you got there. Familiar interiors.
I just got myself the 07 WRX Wagon, white.
Just wondering what mods I can start with now. Probably a APEXi or BLITZ turbo timer.
Have you installed any yet?

Congrats on the new wagon d3xlabs! Mine is still bone stock, no mods. Only thing I plan to do is add a boost gauge, but need to find a place for it first. I bought a turbo timer for my Conquest years ago, and honestly, it's a waste of money. I only use it as a voltage gauge. It's easy to sit in the car w/ it running for 30 seconds, so I don't use it.

Thanks to whoever moved it, I didn't see the correct forum till after I posted.

I second that. Forget the turbo timer and go with an Access Port V2 and a cat-back. Just put on my stage 1 today. Love it. Can't wait for stage 2.

Congrats on the new car.
