Konnichiwa from Japan
Been here for almost 3 months and haven't created an intro thread, so I thought it was time. I am an American living in central Japan, and moving back to the states in April. I am looking for a car on return, and it's between an LS1 Camaro, and a bugeye WRX. The WRX has been on my mind since I first heard a Legacy B4 when I was here during college, before the WRX made it to the states. My goal for the car would be 300 ft lbs of torque. Need to spend some more time researching mods, but I know that a water meth kit, and a tactrix cable will be a part of it.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello

Meth is already bought, so I don't see a reason not to use it. Should help in Texas summer traffic.
PZR, are there any WRX groups or tuners in Central Texas? Tuners especially of the open source type?

If you went the more expensive access Ott route, Cobb is in Plano.
Paul, your turn.

Cobb tuning claims more than 300 ft lbs with just an ap, tbe, and ots stage 2 map I think. That would be a simple, easy, safe, and reliable route.

Opensource tuners... Hmmm.... Only one that is noteworthy that I can think of is Keith at AWDTuning in Dallas
As far as groups, check on nasioc. Or even look around on here. There is a nice turnout in Austin for Subie meets.
When you talk about WRX's.... You are referring to the USDM 2.5L, right?

Sorry I missed your post PZR, right now the only 2.5 in my range is a few Foresters. I was most referring to the WRX 2.0

I started looking into the SF Fozzies after learning that the B4s were twin turbo instead of WRX style single turbo.

I don't like the looks of the 09+
Although the 04-05 have the better block, I like the 06-08 looks.
Go check out

I am the opposite, and like the 04-05, but the 06 may grow with some projector headlights. I have been on the Subaru forester forum for 4 years or so, back when I was looking at the SF Foresters here.
