Absolutly love it. the pictures of this years models dont do it any justice . it looks a lot better in person. So does anyone have any suggestions on where to start on it? First mod should be some kind of EM (engine management) wether it be a cobb access port, txs utec, opensource....etc

EM, then TBE, then probably rims/tires, always the best place to start.

Smile Thanks some parts questions

thanks I really am enjoying this car and i'm glad i didnt go with hatchback. I'm still trying to figure out why the sedan is 7" longer that the hatch back but whatever. typically with a stage 2 kit about how much of a milage decrease is there? anyone one know of a shortram and catback exaust available right now?

short ram and catback are not going to help you much at all. to get good increase you need a bellmouth downpipe. My milage increased when I went to stage 2. I went from 24-25 HWY to 29-30 HWY MPG.

+1 your mileage should increase as long as you can resist the temptation to try out all that new hp!

+1 to the increase in MPG. I picked up 2-3just by going to stage 1. If you search around on the internet there might be parts out, but I havent seen any yet. Not that I look for them, but havent ran across any either.

stage one and 2

Thanks for the input. I talked to cobb and the access port wont be available for this car until middle of dec and the turbo back will be out in the spring for the 5 door. They had no time frame for the exaust on the 4 door. I'm Assuming there is other companies that do the stage kits, is there any recommendations besides cobb?

Well as far as stages, a Stage 1 is just some reflash to get some better performance from the stock ECU. Stage two is Downpipe and reflash to maximize that mod. But Im not sure who is working on what for the newer WRXs.
