Hello from the great plains of Nebraska

Well, Great Plains... not so much. I'm Derek, I'm 20, and I live in Omaha, Nebraska. I go to school for photography, have been around/working on/taking photos of cars and generally imports for 4+ years now.

Just got out of my money pit Honda Civic project, and am RELIGIOUSLY looking for an 02-03 WRX wagon right now, hopefully to get within the next 2 weeks. I will accept nothing less, haha.

Either way, I thoroughly enjoy anything from Japan, have a good time being a car enthusiast and my goal is to eventually be a photographer for some big time magazine, or something of that sort. Hopefully that works out.

Here's some pics of my old project.

^^ this will be a lot more fun with AWD, haha.

Our local drag strip closed well before I had time to take it there, and I was in the process of building the suspension when I sold it, so it never saw a road course either.

I was the official photographer of the Integra Type R Expo 7 at Virginia International Raceway last June, and my goal was to work on it this year, drive it half way across the country and race it at VIR again this coming June for Expo 8... but alas.... I got rid of her.

What's up Daishi,

I used to live in Omaha and was rollin a turbo charged dodge shadow

for a couple years out there while going to UNO. I loved that car but she

doesn't compare to the 06 wrx. Good luck with your ride.
