Greetings and Salutations from Seattle

Hey all,

I just picked up a used 2002 WRX wagon (silver) from a dealer last week. So, I'm not sure what all has been altered from stock, but I know the car has been taken very good care of, and only has 48k miles on it. It also has a nice aftermarket 'woofer installed in the trunk with a nice stereo and amp under the passenger seat. Aside from normal usage, I'll mainly be using my baby for driving up snowy roads for some boarding, or shuttling on gravel/dirt roads for mountain biking. Keeping this in mind, I'll probably tune things to more of a rally setup. I have added two Thule bike racks and a wind fairing, but that's all.

Which means that, as far as I can tell, I have stock:

-body kit
-interior (aside from sub, stereo, and amp)
-rims
-brakes
-muffler
-and everything under the hood is probably stock too

Right now, I'm just a student without a job, so I don't have much dough to throw at upgrades, but I would love some suggestions on relatively cheap upgrades. And if you have any hints or tricks-of-the-trade for general maintenance and upkeep, I would love to hear anything you guys have to say. Basically, I'm new to all of this, and I'm just beginning to eagerly absorb as much knowledge as I can.

:)

Thanks!

Say, you're in Seattle: where would you recommend going for repair and/or upgrade work?

depending on what you want done, I do alot of side work in my garage. I am a ASE certified auto technician, if that matters at all! As far as shops I recommend, Dyno Authority in Redmond, Or PIA (pacific import auto) down south.
i also do alot of window tinting so if you need a tint job, i'll hook you up cheap.

If you plan on changing your own motor oil, you might want to consider getting one of these: FUMOTO ENGINEERING

It's got to be my most useful mod so far and it's relatively inexpensive
