First Post! Picking up new '14 Subie tomorrow, Tips?

Hello all,

VW owner who's expanding their garage.

I am picking up my new 2014 WRX hatch tomorrow, and i was wondering if ya'll had some tips on what to do/not to do right off the bat...like when im driving it home, trust me, ill get to mods in a few months.

I have read some posts on breaking it in, as well as the whole soft break in technique but im hoping someone could give me a bit more detailed info surrounding all of that?

Thanks All!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone on here.

Drive it normally, however I wouldn't be doing hole shots and bouncing off the rev limiter.
Get a Cobb ap and flash to stage 1, best money I ever spent. These cars should come off the line tuned that way.

Read the owners manual. Lots of good info in there and I think it even tells you how to drive during break in. Just drive normal. Nothing crazy.

First thing I did when I bought mine new was read the owners manual from cover to cover. Its amazing how many simple little things you can learn from it.
