Cold air intake n bov

Finally got my 2008 wrx wagon. I've been looking for the best intake n I'm finding some that say 30 more hp. Is that possible? On the dyno chart it looks like u get more power but loose top end power is that true? I also want to hear the bov when I shift so what mod do I need to get that n would the intake help the bov sound?
Thanks for the help

What are your mods?

And 30 hp is false advertisement.

8-10whp is the max I've seen from installing a CAI. But the 2008's biggest restriction IS the intake (besides the downpipe)... Correct me if I'm off.

You will lose more low end than you will gain up top.

wrx3r is more helpful than not
best bang for buck.

-catless up-pipe (not sure if your car came with a cat or not)
-down pipe and full exhaust
-open source tune by a trusted tuner in your area

hands down best go fast mods to start with.

i would also suggest new endlinks and sways for a more fun ride.

bigger and better than ever

I think you are talking about the BPV "by-pass valve" if your car is all stock.
Yes an intake will make it somewhat louder.

Cobb Accessport Stage 2.
JDM ej205 swap.
