SW Wisconsin RallyCross NEW LOCATION!!!

When: April 29th

Where:
Mellenberger Farm
7561 Porter Road
South Wayne, Wisconsin 53587

NEW LOCATION!!!!

http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...01133505049018

Quoted from another memeber....
"The place checked out. It's at a farm and we will be using what looks like the front yard of the farm house. Mowed grass will be the surface and it looks pretty smooth. We weren't able to drive on it because it was really squishy from being water soaked with frost still in the ground. We are planning tentatively on Sunday April 29th and this will be a Madison Sports Car Club event. If the MSCC board of directors approves of the event, but we're pretty sure they will.

Cost will be $25 for MSCC members and $30 for everyone else. We are going to need about 20 people to make this event happen so I hope there's enough interest. Rental "race" cars is a possibility too. The farm is about an hour south of Madison. "

Whatever you have! Personaly, I have Rally tires. If I didnt have rally tires, I would be using my winter tires (used then in the winter races, work great in the summer though too!!). When I didnt have winter tires, I used my all-seasons. The all-seasons sucked for traction, but I had a TON of fun!

There are plenty of people that rally race with street tires. It is great if you can get some rally tires like Ryan did (only 16" rally tires I've ever seen), but you dont need them. I can't even get rally tires to fit over the stock brakes on my car. I personally use snow tires. I have used street tires before though... pretty much everyone starts off on street tires. You arent just going to go out and buy an expensive set of rims and tires for something youve never done.
