Same here. Years earlier I chose a Ceclia GTS because I became aware of it when Toyota was winning with it in WRC. I've been a fan of Jags for many years. But the first one I bought was made in the year that Jaguar won Le Mans after a long awaited comeback.
IMO, racing is a great marketing tool, as long as it's not just about pasting headlight stickers on the front of a car that has nothing to do with the road cars (*cough cough* NASCAR). Porsche and Ferrari are the masters of using racing as a marketing tool. I hope Subie returns soon. And I hope they hire some new designers and stylists (who aren't legally blind) too.
