You could take em with a nice hard launch :P I used to barely get into the 14's with my stock 02 WRX at best (14.99 last year consistent 15's). That was with my bad clutch and zero mods. Now that I have a better clutch, lightened flywheel, i/c hoses, full 3" turboback, and perrin inlet hose I can almost get a high 13 Before the inlet hose I got a 14.18 at 95.5mph on the stock ecu at Milan Dragway Now that I have the inlet hose I can tell the car is a little faster (the flat spot from 3rd to 4th is gone! Also it's easier to launch the car YAY ) My stock inlet hose was damaged though and I still got a low 14. I guess my point is that your car is probably in top notch condition so you could run low 14's all day long with a good clutch Just put a bag of ice on the intercooler and intake manifold before you go down the track and see what happens Just don't let the ice melt while you're in line some guys get mad at that... they don't have the traction we do

my buddy has a cobalt sc and we raced not only from a dead stop but also a 20 mph roll start and he keeps up until third gear so overall there pretty quick but usually you start pulling in 3rd to 4th so no worries and on freeway runs youll get them with topend

Well I have done this race before..... just so happens that the wife drives an SS. And even tho my car has tons of mods on it and it would not be a fair race, my buddy has the same exact 07 TR as me just in a diffrent color that is stock. And they raced. Suby Ran a 14.3 and the SS fastest time at the track that night was a 14.9 traction is a huge issue with those cars, if you do not launch properly you will not win in an SS.

Now the race I had was a SS Supercharged with the following mods (lowered, torque dampiner, ZEX nitrous kit (65 shot), cold air intake, and exhaust. I ran a 13.5 at 100.99, he ran a 14.0 at 112.65 His trap speed always had me, but I always had him in my rear view mirror because I was off the line so much harder than him.

Anyway I hope that answers your question. Most of the SS's at the track the last time I went where in the 15's or even 16's becasue of traction. The luckley few that actually hooked ran mid to high 14's

My wife now had the torque dampiner, lowering springs, G85 package (recarro seats / limited slip), intake and soon exhaust. She should be a little faster this weekend at the track, I will let you know how she does VS my buddy Sean. The lowering of the SS's make a huge diffrence becuase it gets rid of like 90% of the wheel hop and they actually get traction.

i have a 07 wrx with exhaust, intake, bov, and i spank ss cobalts for fun, weather it is a launch or from a roll, tell him to bring some money with him and win some cash, cause unless you are a really bad driver, then he won't win

The downfall of front wheel drive...what's power without control?

Yes, I ripped that line off from Kumho tires.
