Went to the strip last night

Ok so i went to the strip last night and im thinkin the time r or something was off b/c my 02 wrx , megan TBE, all 3 pulleys, headers, and Cobb AccessPort Stg 2, and these were my times R/T .669, 60' 2.5, 1/8 9.92@ 76mph, 1000 12.67, and 1/4 14.9 @97.0 mhp, oh and i had a decent launch light slip at like 4k could these times be wrong? Right? or is my car just slow. anybody got an opinion or anything . THX

Ya, the reaction time needs work and your 60' time def needs work. You weren't launching good w/ that 60' time...should be 1.8/9's and rxn times should be a lot better...you need to read this...
1st time at the track, SUCKED!!!

last time I went to the track in my stock 06 wrx for the first time this is what I ran...I was NOT using the above technique for launching, and still....
1st run. Rxn time .357, 60ft @ 2.294, 1/8 mile @ 9.630 1/4 mile 14.794 @ 95.693mph
2nd " " .128 @ 2.184 @ 9.540 14.729 @ 95.180mph
3rd .069 @ 2.095 @9.486 14.760@ 93.233 mph
4th .240 @ 1.990 @9.395 14.710@ 92.631 mph
5th .186 @1.978 @9.100 14.251@ 95.041 mph
6th .272 @1.988 @9.093 14.239 @ 95.274 mph

Keep in mind if you ge a better reation time than .050 you will redlight.

Figure you want to leave at the second yellow.

I'm goig to the track to run a few times today and I'm def trying that tehnique mentioned earlier. I'm gonna have a budddy take video so It should be funny watching myself practice. I went stage 2 a few days ago so I'm hoping to run mid 13's!!! PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE...Z

Work on the 60 and your time will come down considerably. If you have headers and are only running Cobb stage 2 map, you arent really getting much from the headers.

Your asking about your ET, so your reaction time is a separate issue. Focus on your launch when you get to the line not a .500 reaction time. Your MPH is the key here, you ran 97 MPH, good job. MPH is an indicator of HP and that is a big part of what it takes to get you the times you are after. I have an 06 myself and I ran a 13.95 @ 96.06 last night, I know the diff between these two engines, however the point is your car is fine you just need praqctice like has been said in previous posts. Your point of focus should be in your 60' more than anything else. Get that 60' down to say 1.9 - 2.0 and you should have the times you are after. We all need work on our launches and shifting myself included. BTW for the record I don't think anything was wrong with the clocks, if that was the case most likely it would not have reflected your 97 mph that is about right for your mods. Good luck.
