So you didn't break the 5spd? lol

A 6 puck on a RA set..............wow.

There is no way your making enough torque to need half that clutch.

When it wears put an ACT streetdisk or something in there.

Meth'd, EWG'd, Str8 Cut PPG'd, 20G'd Bug-i, 354awhp and 315tq SAE 5 Corrected 50/50 meth @ 19-20psi.

Seriously. Wow. Decent times... It seems like it should be faster though. What type of launching method are you using boost?

106mph is a 12.7-12.8 is a possibility.

Meth'd, EWG'd, Str8 Cut PPG'd, 20G'd Bug-i, 354awhp and 315tq SAE 5 Corrected 50/50 meth @ 19-20psi.

Yeah, just cut down your 60' times and get it into 3rd normally and you'll be in the low 13's maybe 12's man. Is your car still hard to get into 3rd boost?

Thanks bro, launching abt 6000 and slipping the clutch, but i think i am spinning too much and thats why i may be loosing that time, so i probably may leave at a lower rpm on my next pass( next summer ) when the track open again.
Also to add to this i was told to drop my tire pressure which will hepl me with that 60ft so i guess i'll try see what happens

6000rpms? Wow, that's really high. That's like, almost redline.... Yeah, try more around 5k or 5500... My local track is down for the winter also, only event they have left this year is this weekend, and it's a continuation of the last event because the 2nd day's finals got rained out. I wanted to take my VW there, but my motor & tranny mounts are shot.... !Cry! lol....

mr04wrx is more helpful than not
I've been told on an awd car you don't have to lower tire pressure especially running on street tires!!

Mosc's big rant is that a street tire doesn't need lowered and that lowering it won't really help. It probably won't be expanding like a drag slick anyways. How would running on a partially flat tire help increase your overall time anyways? Normally the more inflatted a tire is...the easier the car is to move. Plus, lower the pressure is normally for increasing traction. If you need increase traction that much...try running something more along the lines of a street drag radial or tell your local track to put down some more glue. That glue whatever stuff they use...the track should be sticky as heck or your going to see slower times.

If you have a stock gearbox then no, you shouldn't be launching your car hard enough to need to lower pressure.

Eh, i think it does help me a little bit. Well, if you're launching with vicious intent.......like me.

If i forget to lower tire pressure i will hit 1.7-1.8s all night.
I lower to 20-23ish psi; I can start getting into the 1.6s.
Could be psychological.

I launch with 10psi (meth on) and about 6000k rpms. I smoke the tires all the way through first and i have a very very long first. (PPG SC 1st)

I need all the grip i can get.

Yeah, it probably doesn't need to be deflated, but some people are so sure it helps. Drag radials would probably be too much traction. Oh, and it's called VHT I beleive. That suff is insane.

Wow. You gotta have the longer 1st so it doesn't fly through 1st gear in a split second huh? Do you run street tires too?

well i saw all the Evo guys and some subaru droping their tire pressure at the track all the time, i guess its helping them anyways i will definitely try it also i had my tranny rebuild with the RA gear set.

I think PPG made 1st's ratio a little longer for the bigger turbo guys to actually get some boost going before they have to shift to second.
Yea launching with a stock first sucked. Bog bog bog almost boost shift.

Street tires, afraid of radials. I break enough stuff with Kumho MX
