doesnt aqumist have a fail safe that works with true boost like if it reads that the fluid is low or if the pump shuts off for some reason it will default to run on waste gate only, i thought i saw that somewhere

WRXKidid775 is more helpful than not
Aquamist has a gangster failsafe. I would have no problems trusting it. The snow kits offer a failsafe that will revert you to wastegate boost only if it senses a problem but it isn't nearly as good as the Aquamist.

To compare it. Guys on evos usually run 22 ish psi on pump and between 26-28 on pump + meth with some timing as well.

you should be able to run mid to low 12s with that setup, a good 60 and a nice tune.

02 rex is gone.
I defected to an evo :)
Evo is gone :(
Now I got nothing.

Work on shifting faster also, that's one of my problems, I take to long to shift.

Boys will be boys, but girls will be fast !

You can throw all the mods in the world at a car and in the end it comes down to the driver.Doesn't matter what mods you have if you can't drive.Like VD5505,lots of guys run high 12's on a stock turbo set up.Plus your times will have lots of other factors:altitude, humidity, ambient temps,fuel........

Not sure what EM you run but Opensource does have launch control now for 16bit ECU's

Cobb has launch control also. I know they have it for the AP 2, not sure if they have or you use the AP 1 though.

Only for the 32bit ECU's not the 16bit.That means It's only for the STi's and 2.5L wrx's (06+) and not for the 2.0L wrx's (02-05).

i argee with u 100% on the driver, i am still awaiting the tune and will be running race gas as well, those two runs i launched at abt 5800 rpm not dumping just feeding the clutch as others may say FEATHERING but will also work on making my shifts a little faster too oh and also those two test runs was on 20 psi will be pushing atleast 21 to 22 psi on my next runs.I know for sure the more u visit the track the more u get better its all abt practice too.
Also when i was there they had a subaru legacy with quite a few mods he was doing my times low 13's and after i found out wht rpm he launches i laugh 2000 rpm, told him to try 5500 did'nt listen quite well but launch @ 4500 and jump to 12.9 sec thank me later , so yeah alot has to do with the driver.
