First trip to the 1/8th mile with the WRX

I could have launched harder but didn't want to break it.

Seem decent? It's the first time I have had this car at the track

Here was my best pass, launch control set to 4500, purposely slipping the clutch on launch. Best 60ft as well.

Cobb stage 2 OTS 93 octane map, catless DP, SPT cat back.

Those are some pretty nice times... the R/T is almost perfect and the 60ft can come down a little. My best 60ft in this car is a 2.1

I don't get the 1/8th mile thing. Never did. Never will.

All right, where is the distributor cap? I need to find the #1 plug wire to hook up my SUN machine.

Is that like half of an ice cream cone? Climbing half a mountain? Going half way to the moon? Running half the Indy 500? Half a race? I suppose it's good practice for the real thing. Still not getting it.

Well, it's fun.

Also, it's 10 minutes from my house.

Finally, Racing is better than not racing.

Texas Motorplex is over an hour away from my house.

If the ice cream cone was 2 hours away I'd still drive 2 hours to get the whole thing. btw, I have 3 drag strips. 2hr 5min,1hr 54min,1hr 20min. Worth the drive. As long as your having fun that's what counts.
