im at high altitude and im pulling 1.9-2.0 60' consistantly just work on the launch (i shouldnt besayin shit i suck at launching) and look into a I/C water cooler it helped soooooooo much for my rex.

1.9 60' is decent but you should be able to get it down to a 1.7-1.8 at least. practice launching. when i had my rex id bounce it between 4-5 k and then slip the clutch but not like a clutch burning slip. jext enough so the engine doesnt bog but so the clutch didnt smell either.
yea heatsoak for sure. like everyone said ice the ic and pop the hood inbetween runs. with those temps you know how we feel up at 6000 feet altitude even in 60 degree heat haha.

JUst work on that launch, reaction time is everything. You should probably tach up to about 3grand for starters, and practice with that. Once you get good at that, just move up a little at a time, but like the other guy said, don't go too high or you'll blow the tranny, and even though I love working on my car, thats one repair that's a pain in the ass. Heat soak might have had something to do with it, but it should only affect your time by 1-2 tenths of a second.
