First time at the track 08 WRX baby

so i went to englishtown raceway,nj and im happy to say i ran a 13.4 in a stage 2 08 wrx. im easily into the 12s with a fresh clutch because mine is shot. I basically dumped the clutch at redline and u can tell that the clutch is slipping from the video. i cant even go WOT in 3rd or higher from lower rpms(right before it spools) it slips at like 3k and beyond. it took me like 3-4 seconds just to get outta 1st. trapped at like 102. ill have the slips up later. cant wait to go back to the track with a fresh one.

Congrats! That's a great time!

What octane fuel were you running?
What wheels and tires?
60 ft time?
1/8 mi time/speed?

93 octane on stock tires man, only thing i have is a downpipe, K&N filter, and XPT stage 2 tune.

R/T .509
60 1.944
330 5.594
1/8 8.616
mph 80.32
1000 11.230
1/4 13.454
mph 101.69

im pretty sure its the clutch ### it was acting up before i went to the track. i let my friend drive my car a few nights before and then the next day, when i went wot in 4th it just revved up and then if i hold it down, it eventually catches, sucks, dont know which clutch i should get, whether a oem or aftermarket.

But yeah cant wait to go again. first time ever at a track. i had to passes, the second one i ran a 13.6 but the clutch slipped even worse, my R/t was .442 and my 60 was 2.042.

What I'm about to type is very important:

If your transmission is stock, get a stock clutch.

That's the golden rule of Subarus. Otherwise, you risk spending hundreds to thousands of dollars unnecessarily on replacement parts.

LOL I'm pretty sure nobody would replace that POS when you can buy a nice gearset for just as much

nice times man.. i hope to pull similar times this week when i take my brothers 08. All he has done though is 17" track lite wheels, yokohama s-drives, and a drop in K&N. Can someone please tell me what exactly XPT tune is? is it just a re-flash? and does anyone know of any good tuning shops in the phoenix area?
