1st run ever at the track w/ the STi

Took the STi to the track last night. This 1st run was the best of 4. Poor civic.
mods--cobb stg 1 reflash, spt intake. Civic had body kit, exhaust and AEM stickers....

1/8 mile 8.369 @ 80.899 MPH
1/4 mile 13.230 @ 101.848 MPH
The civic pulled a 17.331 @ 84.024 MPH

Stage 2 comming next weekend, hoping to break into the 12's.

Congrats Z, nice time. Thats kind of mean though, you picking on a Civic, lol. Cant wait to see a run with your stage 2 setup, good luck with it.

ya I kinda just ended up in line with him. I also raced a civic hatch with a fully built prelude motor in it running a 5o shot of nos and he beat me by a bumper!!

Nice times, great 60ft. What RPM did you launch at and what air pressure in the tires?

I'm hoping to be running mid to high 12s next time I'm at the track but I need to be able to find the right launch RPM. Last time, 6k launch and all I got was spinning tires. Lowered the tire pressure to 20psi and cut a 1.8 60ft.
