Nope stock ECU. Only mods is the complete exhaust, HKS BOV, Perrin short ram intake, FMIC not on till next weekend.
Went to the track today pulled a 14.22 constantly with the car at a 1.97 60'. at the end of the runs i had to keep giving the car minor revs to stop it from stalling out. Another subaru driver was there and he said hes running the same setup i have and had no problems and tryed scoping out my motor for boost leaks instead. He thinks that the Perrin short ram intake maybe causing it to stall out because its a foam filter not a regular cone filter like a K&N. The car is also running extremely rich now, my gas gauge practally walks to the E, and i can smell fuel if i just rev the motor. im running out of ideas thou, i dont think there is a leak because i torqued everything done to the factory specs from a ALLDATA mechanic program.
Do you have an atmospheric BOV? If so, a sticking valve (that doesn't close completely) will cause stalling problems exactly like you are talking about.
I do have a atmospheric BOV, and i just checked it and the adjustment screw on it, the HKS SSQ model, was loosened up so i retightened it and set it back in. i toke the car out on the highway again and it still stalls out if i go into nuetral. At WOT in 2nd gear my boost gauge read 18psi!! then bounced down to 15psi and then down to 12psi all in the same gear before i shifted into 3rd at 6500K. its a stock ECU with no MBC and a intake. On my way back the CEL came back on in front of an autozone but it was 8:02 so he wouldnt come out and read the code for me, will know tomorrow tho. i think it may be CEL for a malfunctioning O2 sensor. If so, and no one has any other ideas what the stall out is, i guess ill have to replace the O2 sensor and weld in a highflow cat.
the codes were a cat effentecy below threshold on 2 banks and a misfire code for all 4 clyinders.
do you mean a valve in the blow off valve itself or a im burning a valve in the motor type thing? because the adjustment screw did get loosened some how for how long i dont know.
i think a o2 sensor went bad somehow thats why im running really rich with the cat code, because i do have a cel fix and it worked for a week
