Ok, this was my best run of the day. My stage 2 kit includes APS Cold Air Intake, APS 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, APS Up-Pipe APS Top Mount Intercooler, and the Dyno-Comp ECU Re-Flash.. Best i could run was 14.03... I think its my launching, people have claim the stage 2 can hit low 13's but im not seeing it,
The time your running are ok b, but from what you have on your REX I don't see why you should'nt see low 13 sec. Also when ever I launch my REX I try to feather the gas around 4k then RIGHT before you dump your clutch stomp your gas petal to the floor. If done correct you'll get an awsome launch!
dropping your clutch from 4k isnt very nice to your tranny...start saving for a new one.
i feather the revs between 4-5k and then drop the clutch to wear it grabs and then slip it the rest of the way out. it sounds slow but if you do it right youl actually get better 60' times than just dumping your clutch and it wont burn your clutch either.

I defected to an evo :)
Evo is gone :(
Now I got nothing.
I have launched it that way also, but I dunno doesn't seem like im doing it right. Latly i have been reving it between 3.5k -4k RPM and holding the clutch right before it actually moves the car (friction i guess its called) Then right as im about the go push the gas and let go of the clutch together.. It alittle jerk, but im gettin better and plan on trying that technique next time im at the track.. Any tips on shifting or when to shift?
i dunno since your redline is a little earlier than ours. i shift at 6.5k thats when the power starts to fall off.
run your car to redline and pay attention to when the power seems to fall off. thats where you should shift.

What's the altitude at Firebird ? That makes a big difference on your 1/8 and 1/4 mile time. If it's 5-6000 ft you shouldn't feel too bad. 60' needs work though
I rev to 6k and drop fast then slow...shift at 6500 and I got 13.4 @ 99mph with intake and exhaust with no flash...you should get lower 13's....AWD is all about the launch...its your money maker...
dont be afraid to try different things...its the only way to know where you stand if you shift earlier or later or something...just dont be stupid about it...tranny and clutches usually arent the cheapest....
haha yeah dont want to hurt my pride and joy... ima try to refrain from dropping the clutch...ive been practiceing launching daily and getting better.. open track is this friday so ill post my new times and HOPEFULLY ill see some improvements
