1/4 mile time results!

Hey guys just went to the track and with the few mods that i have i was very happy with the time. all i have is a 3" downpipe catless, and a manual boost controller. i boosted around 15.5 and this is what i ran.

60' ... 1.922
330 ... 5.640
1\8 ...8.772
MPH ... 78.85
1000 ... 11.462

1/4 ... 13.774
MPH ... 97.07

Just put in a 3" catback yesterday, might be headin to the track one last time before the season is over. Do you think the catback will make a big difference?

well i say yes and no to the catback because of the restriction from 3" dp and 2 and w/e stock CB because it was causing alot of backpressure there. i know it made a big diffrence in car feel on my 02 when i got my bosal and put it in. But nice times

Are you worried about doing any damage at all because you raised the boost while still having the stock up pipe? (Nice number's by the way )

The uppipe shouldn't be his concern. Running extremely lean because of partial-throttle full-boost should be his main concern.

When i was running my MBC i was at the same boost. When i went to the track i would launch at 4.5k to 5k. What i would do is watch my boost. Believe it or not it worked out great. It seemed once i hit between 7-9 psi i would floor it and never boog down coming out of the hole (slipping it of course) leaving the line about 3.6k to 4k. But i have gotten sick of that and gotten myself a utec. Definatly the way to go. All i have right now is a untuned stage 2 map but its sooooo much better than MBC.
