pretty good times, how were you launching the car? You can bring that 60ft down some more as well, is your car tuned? The MPH seems like it could also be a little higher as well. Other than that not to bad.

smoothly letting off at about 5-5500rpm, tryin to slip and be nice to the tranny. ive seen a bone stock 09 run 12.9 at 102mph and 13.1 at 101mph.

that was stock besides the light weight pulley. im at 17psi 290hp 311tq now with catted TBE, CAI, UP, 255 pump, LWP and 3-port ebcs. im going back catless for a look at 300hp and XXXtq. then hitting the track. hoping for 12.6 1/4

only go to the track once, twice a year. tuners seen 350+ torque out of them with no prob if you know how to drive with at least a stage 1 clutch. im totally not worried about the tranny. OEM clutch however i no ill replace in the not so distant future.

I wouldn't do the clutch, stock tranny stock clutch man. At least you're keeping the weak link there and not in a gear. On a side note, it took you five months to tell us you took the 09 to the strip? Shame on you.

I just noticed that my stock clutch is starting to slip once and awhile under hard driving. I have been running the 20G with the original clutch for about 10,xxx miles now, the car has 29,xxx total on it. I do agree with keeping the stock clutch tho, but some do upgrade to stage 1 with no ill effect. I wouldnt change your clutch until you need to.

Ok you sounded like you were gonna do the clutch. Honestly just start saving for upgraded gears... I'm thinking that's what I'll do. Hopefully by the time my tranny blows I'll have a few g's saved up.

quit making him paranoid about his trans...you old scooby guys are just jealous cause we got a better legacy gt trans now....lol

People have had trans problems with bone stock cars...its all how you drive and a little bad luck. I plan on using stock clutches as well and i wont be running 20psi for my tires either like i did with my old car

We can all drive, my friend. Go ahead, keep adding power. Enjoy it until it breaks and then build it stronger. It's part of the game. Gotta pay to play.
