Hey pzr, I believe nuggets was saying shifter, shift bushings, etc. will not change your 0-60 time, but will change the feel of your shifts.

In the WRX probably gives a better chance of hitting the gears little easier/cleaner than stock, but wont actually make your "time" faster.

No, I was referring to all. If I can get into gear 1/10 of a second faster into each gear and smoother/harder with my awesome shifter........ well it's all math from there..... I took my ride on track b4 I put my shifter and fluids in and it my times licked scrotum .... after I changed them out.... it made A DIFFERENCE....... After I learned to shift w/it...... After the DP and filter, hoses, sprayer, cO2...... AND not ragging on her all the time took me to 5 sec's. I'm not saying the youngens on here don't know how to shift BUT..... practice makes perfect... and I'm not perfect by all means. No offense meant, none taken booger.

the mount of speed lost during 1/10 of a second shifting is probably less then one MPH. the car is heavy, and has tons of inertia.

But the car still pulls back in between shifts.... even a red beaver hair of a difference will help. That's all I was saying.

when i only had tbe and cobb ap stage 2, i did 0-60 in 5.45 and 60 ft in 2.211. that was a 4700 rpm launch AND THE ASPHAULT WAS WET SO I WAS EVEN SPINNING TIRES. BUT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE said "there are too many variables": drivers' weight, gas in tank, elevation, temperature, tires. ALSO, there are some freaks of nature when it comes to wrxs. by that i mean some are just faster from the factory than others. my friends 02 and my 02 are freaks. his more so than mine unfortunately. be carefull with your clutch and tranny though. i see too many threads that start off saying: part of team broken tranny now. have fun and good luck

Pulls back meaning that when you depress the clutch to shift there is a short 1/10 of a second (# out of my @$$) that gets less of a pull than a quicker shift would

BTW .... I am trying to get a set of PPG's..... burning the tranny is ok/w me. Won't have to explain to the wife why I will need to spend 5k. These tranny's are for practice anyways....
