Yeah definitely an Escort. Didn't even think 2 of those still existed lol! My mom had a red one just like the pic when I was young. After that she graduated to a banana yellow wagon with the wood paneling. I use to love getting dropped off at school in that one! Us poor 80's kids !

An ex-GF of mine back in "I wanna sayyyy 1994" had a 1993 GT.... looking back... this thing actually moved for 127hp/114tq.... But oh how it had teh ghey... Just looked hers up.... here:

I'm only 31, so my fonder memories came in the 90's when I was a teen.
