what kind of camera is that? awesome pictures!!!!! i have a canon s3 is. its pretty fun, i have been playing around with the "macro" setting for really close up stuff but i still cant get it to focus

It is a Nikon D50, with a 15-155mm lens on it. For close macro shots, zoom to 55-70mm then back away until it can focus. If your camera has it, set it portrait shot, that way the surrounding background is blurred and the depth of field is greater. For example:

Nikon FTW My step dad has one of their digital SLR's and never uses it... I might just have to "borrow" it from him mwhahaha.
