1. Yes, that is blood. ;)
2. Deer and WRX's tangling at 70 mph is usually a bit more extreme than mine, but it still sucks none the less.
3. Oh yeah, did I mention that was blood...lol.

9d2TSi 10-20-2007 09:54 AM

Nope, I traded it in on the new one. Sad too, I miss that old girl already. ;)

a.young 10-20-2007 09:58 AM

Yeah i have a friend looking for one thats why i ask .. you got the 07 in the shop yet?

9d2TSi 10-20-2007 10:09 AM

Yeah, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I'll have to call them Monday to see what's up. :)

I can't wait to get her back. :)

Gotta put rims on and start the whole thing over again. ;)

Congrats Stacy on the new ride.... Sorry to hear bout the damage... At least you are OK.

nagyhead 10-20-2007 12:04 PM

man, that sucks. Hopefully the deer was ok !Laugh!

9d2TSi 10-20-2007 02:37 PM

Haha, the deer didn't make it...lol. I wsa the 3rd one that hit it. That's the reason my car sustained the least damage. It was down when I railed it. It was raining like no other and I couldn't see it in the road. I got into the left lane because of upcoming cars on the rh shoulder. The minute I did this...

You guys can figure out the rest from here. ;)

YIIIKKEEESSSSS that looks scary! congrats though on a new wrx! yes the building process is fun especially when your in the 3 grand mark in parts =)

Shane818 10-20-2007 06:43 PM

did you really pay 24k for that car??? where do you live? I was going to buy an 07 wrx and was getting it for 21k. couldn't afford that and insurance so i went with the 02 in the parking lot.

kh15 10-20-2007 11:11 PM

i feel your pain man but at the same time wow you made it out pretty easy! i hit a raccoon at 45 and it ripped the bumper off the little holders that keep it on and it bent the under body plastic surronding the wheel so it was ridding on the wheel and my fog light cracked...it was a mess! but im sorry and i deffinatly know what your going through!!!

9d2TSi 10-21-2007 12:04 AM

When I hit it, it knocked the bumper cover off actually, I half assed snapped it back in. There are a few broken clips, so that will have to be replaced. :)

As for Price, I actually got it for almost 22K. I forget the exact amount, but I didn't really have to dicker too much. My insurance only went up $15/month for the new car. :)

So now I pay $115. ;) My payment is $393.66.

So, it's roughly just over $100 more a month than my bugeye was. I can justify that. ;)
