Are our vendor ads too obtrusive/overwhelming?

Vote!

Why ask this question? I was visiting a few other auto enthusiast sites the other day and noticed how overwhelming they made their advertising. It took away from the user experience in my opinion - vendor logos everywhere, banners showing up in the middle of the page pushing the content further down, etc. It seemed like the user was bombarded with ads trying to get to the content.

We've always done our best to create a good balance of vendor advertising on our site that doesn't overwhelm the user and make our content difficult to find. We keep it discrete, yet visible enough for people to click on if they want to by choosing the best possible placement for advertisements. We don't fill up the pages with vendor logos, yet, if someone wants to see who sponsors our site, they can click on the Sponsors page. Personally, I feel we do a pretty good job. We'd like to know how you think we compare to most of the other sites you visit. Please feel free to vote and let us know.
