saying HI from tempe az

new to the subaru forums as well as new to Subaru's. I just bought my first subaru and already have the itch for go fast parts. It came with a kart boy short shifter as well as a whitline rear strut bar and a greddy turbo timer.

cant wait to meet you all.

Welcome to the club! Sounds like maybe you've been on other forums in the past? Got any previous rides to brag about? Got any pics of the new ride?

The mods on your car so far are great. If you're interested in some excellent Scooby reading, check out this site at your leisure and you'll learn much of what you need to know about the proper way to mod your beast: Unabomber's Manifesto - NASIOC

Actually, those mods were on the car when I purchased it. which made me feel a lot better when I read all of unibombers manifesto and found they were some of the better products. I have owned the car now for just about a week. And this is my first time checking out any of the forums, I actually bought the car off the reputation of my dad as he has had a legacy wagon that took plenty of abuse and kept on rolling and ended up buying a new forester this year.

My previous car was a 98 ford contour svt, with the 3.0L from the ford escape, with cams and port matching UIM and LIM to fit for the original PCM of the contour. I also upgraded the transmission with a Torsen LSD and did a full exhaust as well as suspension, stereo etc.... It was a great car when I was back in the bay area, as I would take it to laguna and sears point and do various track days and SCCA races. but since being out here I haven't had the time and the car has taken its toll from daily driving.
