Who Mods Injectors
Hey...right now I have 565cc's (STi Pinks) and there not enough and I have those and some stockers laying around and I want to get one of the sets modded and I was wondering who would do that and how much bigger would the be on average after modding

they come out to around 800cc. you can get the modded and flow tested from witchhunter WitchHunter Performance - Injector Cleaning & Flow Testing Services

Got mine done at PDXtuning

Also, DW will give you $100 for 02-05 WRX Injectors or $200 for 06+/STi injectors via trade in.

bump...I need mine done real soon and WitchHunter is closing down for 2 weeks and PDX no longer mods does anyone else know a shop that mods the injectors

Post right above yours..............thats all you got.

basco 05-18-2009 08:06 PM

man that stinks...I was hoping to get them done for around 150...but if thats how I have to go I guess with the rebate its not too bad

basco 05-18-2009 08:37 PM

another question...Will DW actually mod mine if i send them in or do they only sell the sets they have?...B/C I really would rather have my pinks modded

nagyhead 05-18-2009 09:45 PM

just mod them yourself, its easy. Shit i'll mod them for you, i just cant have them flow tested.

basco 05-18-2009 09:57 PM

did you do ## own?

nagyhead 05-18-2009 10:03 PM

yep, but i had them cleaned flow tested at witchhunter, they are in my area like 20 minutes away.

basco 05-18-2009 10:14 PM

yeah I really wanted them to do it...but there closing for a while and i really need it done exactly do you do, just cut the metal tip off?

nagyhead 05-18-2009 10:18 PM

all you do is grind the "screen" off the bottom of the injector.

c2bcoolwrx 05-23-2009 12:53 AM

The problem with cutting the caps is you don't get as good or consistent flow. A whichhunter injector (which has modded caps) will not be as consistant as a DW with new caps.

Thats why DW costs more, because DW actually replaces the caps on the injectors. Just my 2 cents.

By no means are the Whitchhunter injectors bad, but I would be willing to bet a DW injector that is rated same will flow more cc's and/or have more conisistant/similar flow over your 4 injectors.

well I'm getting DW's now because WitchHunter is going to be closed until the beginning of june
