I'll go into the details tomorrow after I've rested, but first I have to shout out to the folks that I got my rebuilt shortblock from, and also handled the valve work.
Welcome Duners was a great find. They are racers of the sand loving variety, and gave me great deals and service. Apparently the dune folks have seen the light and no longer worship the Vee-Dub. It's all about turbocharged Subarus now. Smart bunch !
Anyhow the wagon is in tip top shape again. I did the engine reassembly yesterday, and stabbed it back in today. It brought a huge smile to my face. The NASA TT crowd will get a glimpse of my rear bumper soon.
