Question valve-stem question

When you get oversized, aftermarket, non-OEM valves installed during a head rebuild, does the shop usually have to resize them to fit your WRX heads by grinding the valve-stems?

Thanks... a couple of questions:
Are you talking about the flat circle of the valve or the valvestem?

Also, not sure what you mean by 'honed wider.' Wouldn't honing remove material?

oh sorry dude i though u were talking about the circle part of valve. if u are getting a wider valve then yes u have to make it wider for it to close. but the stem its self. u should be alright.
