Which turbo for EJ22 Stage II or Axis 2.5l Stage II?

My current WRX -04 needs new mods. Current mods: H&R-springs, lightweight alloys ,TBE, CAI and Ecutek.
Future mods: shortblock (forged pistons and rods), new turbo, STi tranny, new clutch, injector, Wallbro pump, coilovers, sway bars, brake kit and new tune.

What turbo should I get for EJ22 stage II or 2.5l stage II shortblocks (both from Slowboy Racing)? My plan is to get 350whp with safe tune - 98 or 100 octane daily but still have some room for improvement if I get used with the power and decide to have more.

Which block to get? What are the pros and cons between those two mentioned earlier?

And what about the turbo? SR55, GT30 or GT35/R? Or some other?

It seems that this is a very informative forum and I hope that you can give me some suggestions/guidance. It's gonna take 2-4 years to finish the project but I just wanna be well prepared.

With a well built block, you can do 350whp standing on your head. I'd go with a gt30r kit. Or even a gt35r if you're feeling randy. Hehe.

I'd go with a rotated gt30 and then you can move up to the gt35r when you want some more. If you go rotated right off the bat, you'll spend less money in the long run. I'd do the tranny and suspension first. Then save up and do the block, heads, etc. Then do the turbo kit. If you use good EM from the beginning you can tune it as you go. Good Luck! Keep us posted!!

Another option would be a 20g. Good spool on a 2.5L and sick pull. The 35R is a great choice as well.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

For a 2.2L I'd go with a rotated mount gt30r.
For a 2.5L Like Satcy said either a 20g or the GT35R... Personally i'd go with the second myself.. The GT35R is one badass turbo...

Thank you for your replies! This helps me a lot!

Which block do you recommend? And where to buy them?

Are both GT30R and GT35R straight bolt-ons?

How do I give you guys those reputation points?
