just buy an sti short block and bolt it up to your stock heads. its called a "hybrid" motor. thats the route im going once i need to rebuild the motor.

I can get a block from a 1998 forester S its a 2.5L H4 for free can I use that block for a hybrid build if I put my 02 heads on it and put forged rods and stuff in ?

I'd say why bother? Because the short block is more than likely open deck. Normally not a good thing to run a turbo on a open deck.

Hey sparky, how much are you trying to sell that engine for?
