Seems I may have to step up to a GT40 and set my redline to 9k....hmmmm possible, yes, but I'd need better cams than what I have.

So, my engine didn't get not get picked up yet by my tuner. Has anyone tried to order supertech valves lately? My tuner is saying they have 4 other engines waiting for valves. I'm guessing supertech is back ordered...? Le sigh...they might have it in friday. That is all they are waiting on...valves to finish the heads.

Ordered my inconel exhaust valves and had them in 2 days, maybe it's just the intakes... I'll let em go for a price

Nope...Chad might have the engine by tomorrow. If....if the valves came in and were installed in the heads. I'll check in monday, if I don't hear any news before then.

So...some good news with some slightly irritating news. First the good news... My engine is in and mounted to the engine stand. Irritating news is that my local subaru dealership is slacking it up and called CBRD to say the master gasket set is still not in yet. Might be there wednesday....Thanks dealership for being slow. But, I come bearing gifts of photos of my engine. . The pistons are top and side coated by SwainTech. Enjoy the photos (They're taken again with my crappy Blackberry camera).

Varynice!

What cams did you go with again, GSC or Kelford Stage II's? If so did you need to clearance the head to clear the lobe (can't remember if it's exhaust or intake that can hit).

Looks really good man, don't sweat the gasket set, alot of dealerships are behind on parts right now. Mostly because of weather and Japan getting back on track from the earthquake/tsunami. Hey I said you'd get good news didn't I???? Man I knew I should have played the lottery.

You should've played the lottery....and Chris it's GSC Stage I cams. I think my tuner is thinking this will keep the tq up better than stage IIs. Idk they happen to know the owner of GSC personally and probably got his personal input on it. Chad mentioned me the owner's name and I happen to forget it already. But, Chad said they run only his cams because they know the guy personally. Yeah, I'm just itching to get it back though. Thats the only reason I'm cursing the dealership lol. But, I understand what you mean Keith.
