I've noticed below the intake wire connector difference. The engine swap is
complete and I have a P1491 code (PCV issue). What do I need to change
to get pass code issue?!Cry!
What I have done successfully on swaps from one year to another is retain the intake plenum and attached harness that was originally on the car, since that is where all the important pin connectors, sensors emissions crap, etc. reside.
I only have the '02 shop manual, and that code isn't in it, so I can't help you with that specifically (to find an easier fix). My best advice: swap out the plenums and make sure that all of the important plumbing is hooked up.
The engine runs perfect but has slight low idle issue. I'am going to view a running 02 and do closer inspection. The P1491 is a PVC code, I expect I'll need part of the 02 wire hardness. Thanks for your
suggestion.
Were you able to solve this issue? I have the same problem. The guy before me swapped an 02 engine into my 04 and I'm thinking he swapped harnesses, too. The pcv connection is on the engine, but the other piece that connects to it is no where on my harness. How did you solve your issue?
Thanks
