hey guys. Im new here and this is my first post.
I just got my first 02 wrx ej20 turbo project and I have a engine question.
The original engine is blown, previous owner let the head gaskets go to long and we all know that water and bearings don't get along.
I have been looking for a replacement motor from a jdm shop in my area and they have one with a single coil pack but my motor has individual coil packs. I am aware that I have to swap over intakes because of different wiring harness, but as far as the long block goes will it work for my car and any experiences with jdm motors?
thanks for your time guys

just got the motor from the jdm place near me and the motor is a drive by cable like the stock motor. I don't notice any difference as far as long block is concerned just having to swap intake and exhaust because of no emission related components on the Japanese motor. hopefully will have it running by next week if I get time
