hey there guys i have just about got my hybrid build done just a couple of questions for ya...first does anyone know if there is a way to prime the new motor with oil before a start it the first time?? another one is that i have a new AVO turbo and then vac line running from the compressor housing to the wastegate actuator does not have a "T" in it like the stock one for the stock boost solenoid...should i put a "T" and run it the same as stock?? and final the oil dipstick for the 2.5L motor hit on the air conditioning line so i put the one in off the 2.0L motor but it seems to be about 2 inches longer than the 2.5L motor...what should i do here run the 2.5L dip stick and tube or use the one from the 2.0L thanks for the help guys!!
As far as I know there is no way to prime the system other then pulling the coil wires and cranking it till you get pressure.. But then again that is why you use assembly lube..
Exactly. I read that and wondered, "Should I have done that?" But assembly lube and changing your oil after 500 miles should take care of the initial wear and tear.
ya i have a perrin boost controler i just have not put it on yet...does anyone know about the dip stick issue or should i just run the 2.5l and bend it a bit so the air cond lines pass buy it?
I would mark the 2.0 dipstick and go by that specifc area. Does the 2.0 stick read any oil ?
