Engine build writeup

I'm going to put my case together tomorrow and the pistons in. Then in a couple weeks the heads go on and I drop in the engine in. I was considering doing a detailed write up of each step (every step!). There are lots of write ups though, so if it wouldn't really make a difference then I won't do it. I just like to have step by step instructions when I do something, to make it idiot proof.

Also I was going to include a full list of parts I bought for the build, so someone new to it could have a complete shopping list and idea of prices. If this would be helpful then let me know, but I don't want to waste my time if I'm just rediscovering America.

I would be interested in both the write up and parts list (with maybe the sites and prices). And pictures as you install everything. One more couldnt hurt. You mght do something a bit different or be more detailed. I know I would read it.

I know when I'm about to tackle a car-related project, I like to read write ups by different people to see if they mention different issues I might face so I'm a little better prepared. If you don't mind doing the write up, I'm sure someone will benefit from it.

Ok then. I'll try to do a write up, but I'm either going to go all the way and do a full write up or not. If it's too stressful on my first build to take pics and make notes, then I will at the very least include links to the threads I use, make a few notes of any missed steps, and I will definately include a full parts list.

I Couldn't start today. I had the day off and planned the build with my brother and my parts showed up at 5:00 p.m. Irritating to say the least.
