the shop i work at books it at 5.5 to remove and replace and its always easier to take it out so id say ###### 2 hours if you dont run into any snags. that is with airtools though so maybe a little longer.
make sure you clear the rods on the bellhousing or the motor will never come out and go slow so you dont bend or break anything.
Thank you. tomarow im going to see what alldata calls for. I was just wondering if someone recently did it and found little shorcuts or any thing. I cant wait to rip into it!
Take your time.... Don't rush it and mark all your lines and hoes for proper reassembly.. Even if your dropping in a 2.5 the lines and hoses are the same... With some minor exceptions.. The hardest part that I ran into other the tranny seperation was the motor mounts, I just couldn't get to them.. I ended up just dropping the sway bar to pull them..
