has anyone d stroked there 2.5? me and my buddy have been thinkin about it..any suggestions? i have an 06 wrx tr

the general purpose of a destroke is to gain a higher rev limit through reducing displacement. Also, you can usually handle higher boost.

No, I've never heard of anyone doing it on a suby, only on nissans.

i heard that you can put 1.8l heads on the 2.0l motor.... port em to get the flow and make mad power....

ya me and my buddy are starting this weekend..higher rev and much more boost..ill keep u guys up dated on my car if you are interested..

I know guys did the 2.1L in the 4g63T but that was to get more exhaust gas to spin a turbo faster like the 20g's and such.

you mean a 4g64t the 4g63 is a 2l the 64 is a 2.4l

if your building a full out drag car it is a good idea but otherwise it can hurt your driveability

uh no the 4g64 never came turbo only the 4g63t, they call it a destroker kit but it actually strokes it out to a 2.1L from the 2.0.
