the general purpose of a destroke is to gain a higher rev limit through reducing displacement. Also, you can usually handle higher boost.
No, I've never heard of anyone doing it on a suby, only on nissans.

i heard that you can put 1.8l heads on the 2.0l motor.... port em to get the flow and make mad power....

I know guys did the 2.1L in the 4g63T but that was to get more exhaust gas to spin a turbo faster like the 20g's and such.

you mean a 4g64t the 4g63 is a 2l the 64 is a 2.4l
if your building a full out drag car it is a good idea but otherwise it can hurt your driveability

uh no the 4g64 never came turbo only the 4g63t, they call it a destroker kit but it actually strokes it out to a 2.1L from the 2.0.
